Mark’s real estate license was issued in 1990 during his MBA studies at William & Mary. Starting out as a rental agent in Boston, Mark has been inventing, marketing, and distributing software based tools for Realtors that have generated over $4.5 million in sales since his first product release in 1991- The Bainbridge Directory of Real Property. Successive products included RE Officenet- an Apple based, dial-up listing service, Virtual Agent a thin client Agency management tool and the Bainbridge Disc. In 2000 he created and released the MLSAssistant (tm) a privately branded Virtual Office Website application service in use by over 1 million consumers and Realtors today.

Mark has served in public policy roles (NH House of Representatives 1992-1996) and various Realtor Leadership roles (Marketing, Communications and Technology- MAR, MLS Policies NAR). He served as expert witness in the DOJ anti-trust case against the National Association of Realtors Internet Listing’s Display policies. Mark currently leads the standardization effort of RESO- the Real Estate Standards Organization funded by NAR to create and implement standards in real estate listing data.
